Overview
Stats 4 Jira provides three level of filters
- Report level filters
- Dashboard level filters
- Navigation filters
All filter levels are editable by the user
Report level filters
Each report optionally define a set of filters to select the tickets to analyze. These filters are taken into account each time the report is executed.
Dashboard level filters
Each dashboard optionally define a set of filters to select the tickets to analyze. Each report in the dashboard will take into account the dashboard filters and merge them with the filters included in the report. e.g. if the dashboard contains a filter that includes only unresolved tickets then all reports will add this condition to its own filters on each execution.
Navigation level filters
The user can define transient navigation filters. Navigation filters are not persisted and make it easy to include a custom filter that will merge with those in the dashboard and in the report.
